First locate the key container to use. Highlight and
expand the service provider that contains the key container. If key
containers do exist in the service provider, the branch "Key Containers" is
displayed.
Highlight and expand the branch "Key Containers" to list all the
key containers in the service provider database.
In the list, highlight the name of the key container from which
to create the test certificate, and then right click to display a popup
menu. Scroll down and select Create Test Certificate from
the popup menu.
The following dialog box is displayed:
Fill in the information for the following entries in the dialog
box:
Certificate File Name. This is the name of the
physical file certificate. The full path and name must be entered to
specify where the certificate will be stored.
Subject Name. Enter the subject name of the
certificate.
Issuer Name. Enter the issuer name of the
certificate. This is the subject name of another certificate whose
private key will be used to sign the test certificate. For a self-signed
certificate, the issuer name is the same name as the subject name.
Public Key Type. Select the public key that will be
stored in the test certificate from one of the following public/private key
pair:
Key Exchange.
Digital Signature.
Press OK to save the entries and to begin creating the
test certificate.
